Napa Farmers Market. How to THRIVE at the Farmers Market.
If you are interested in doing more than just surviving, check out Farmers Market Executive Director Cara Mae Wooledge’s response to our recent entirely-intended-to-be-silly-and-self-deprecating-but-in-retrospect-should-have-been-more-thoughtful-after-all-people-are-working-their-asses-off-and-also-we-love-the-farmers-market!-this-one-got-away-from-us-but-parts-of-it-were-kind-of-funny-right?-is-napa-bistro-mad report about the farmers market — which, to reiterate, we love!
BTW: Did you know that you can become a Friend of the Market? Just make a contribution of your choosing to help support this largely volunteer-run organization! (Can you even imagine if the Farmers Market didn’t exist? Or if it left downtown?!)

VINE Transit. Saturday service to BART.

But instead of holes, it will have QR codes.

Genuinely looks so very lovely — like if TikTok opened a French café.

Vaya con dios, Entrecot. We hardly knew ye and feel guilty about never visiting ye.
Heritage Eats. May be walking back recent concept changes.
It is freaking tough out there, huh? If we haven’t said it recently: Thank you to all the restaurant and retail people out there who stick their necks out and make Napa an interesting and vibrant place to live.
Blue Note Summer Sessions (Meritage). So many notable performers!
Summer ain’t over yet! From Daryl Hall to Chelsea Handler to Mavis Staples to David Lee Roth, there is so much going on over at the Meritage that it felt worth promoting the Summer Sessions from the “events” section to the “news” section.
Villager PSA: Tomato season is peaking, and the valley’s BLTs are having a moment. Contimo, Kitchen Door, Charlie’s, and more — pick your favorite, then take a bite. Bonus points if you spot Tyson Caly mid–BLT crawl. Say hello, and let him know the Villager says he owes you a sando.
