Betty's Girl. Moved into the Antiques on Second location
Is it just me or does it feel like everything is always changing on that block while also staying exactly the same? Where does one store end and the next begin? Are they all the same owner? Do you know what I mean? Like WHAT is going on?! Plus there's the post-apocalyptic post office across the street, looming over the whole block like a damn ghoul. What do the tourists think?! One second they are cruising an amorphous antique store compound, buying old Playboys and vintage Christmas ornaments, and as soon as they step outside they're on the set of the Walking Dead. I feel like I owe them an explanation. The City of Napa should provide residents with a stock statement, a little postcard that is delivered along with our voter registration: "If out-of-towners ask, tell them the post office has been purchased by Bobby Flay and will be the site of his new barbecue lab," or "As soon as the asbestos is removed it is going to be Morimoto: Siberia."
I don't know, man. Can someone just fix it please? I have to walk my dog in this town.
